FOEX speeds up enterprise application development with FOEX 3.0, a low-code RAD tool
FOEX GmbH today announced the public availability of FOEX 3.0, the low-code rapid application development (RAD) tool for building complex business applications using Oracle APEX & Sencha Ext JS.FOEX 3.0 addresses two big challenges that businesses face with application development: the growing pressure to stay relevant and competitive by modernizing their portfolio of solutions, and the increasing difficulty in finding skilled IT talent to maintain applications that have been built using technologies from 10-20 years ago.

Version 3.0 of the FOEX Plugin Framework introduces new features and functionality meant to help development teams of all sizes to build complex business applications that provide end users with a modern UI, using nothing but basic PL/SQL and Oracle APEX knowledge. By using the FOEX Plugin Framework businesses can significantly speed up the application development cycle and reduce maintenance costs by orders of magnitude.

This new release introduces additional functionality and features to help development teams build large-scale applications declaratively. Among others, version 3.0 of the FOEX Plugin Framework introduces tablet support - enabling developers to build applications that can run on any screen size without additional modification, an upgrade to Sencha Ext JS 6.2, new application themes, improved keyboard navigation, new layout options and several performance improvements.
