International Money Transfers - help in sight for correct formats

Hamburg, 13 February 2006 - The internet research agency Quickfirm.de has launched its new product for cross-border payments: the check of correct formatting.

The owner Mr. Jens Oelgardt of Tostedt in Northern Germany got this business idea when he had to issue a large number of cross-border transfers on behalf of a foreign customer. "Many companies give insufficient payment instructions for payments abroad." states Mr Oelgardt. "And there is no difference between German, Belgian, British or Tunisian vendors."

Since the introduction of the signle currency in the Eurozone, a number of regulations have been issued about correct formatting of such payments so that these payments are executed at the same price as domestic payments. The two main criteria are the International Bank Account Number "IBAN" and the Bank identifier Code "BIC".

How does the service work ? Mr Oelgardt explains: "my clients can visit my homepage www.quickfirm.de and view the contact form. I will need a scanned copy of the invoice in question and overnight I will come back with the necessary details how the client can perform the payment. If I knew the bank of my client too, I could also provide further hints for the best execution of payments."

Will you offer an interactive service ? "Due to the many different formats in the various countries it is impossible to provide a technical solution. In many countries, the bank of the benficiary is even not written on the invoices. Such knowledge can hardly be transfered."

What is the price of this service ? "I charge EUR 20 per order. This price should compared with the price that banks take to correct badly formatted payment instructions. Especially for recurring payments, it will be cheaper to check the payment data once, instead of repeating errors."

Do you offer discounts ? "Yes, charitable organisations will get a 50% discount for my service. And of course will I negotiate rebates for lartge volumes."
