Scott Donkin, DC, DACBOH discusses new chiropractic technology called Protonics®

San Diego, CA – Top chiropractors now have a new weapon in their arsenal to help patients maintain proper balance and alignment after a manipulation.

Typically, chiropractors use manipulation and other techniques to put the body in a correct skeletal alignment. But when improper muscle activation is a contributing factor, patients who perform certain activities as seemingly harmless as walking, jogging, or cycling can find their body out of alignment, requiring them to return to the chiropractor for another manipulation.

Scott Donkin, DC, DACBOH, is one of the first chiropractors to use this new technology called Protonics® with excellent results. Dr. Donkin is a Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Board of Occupational Health, a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine, and an internationally published author, lecturer, and consultant. In his YouTube video, Dr. Donkin discusses the positive impact Protonics has had on his patients, and the evolution of Protonics into a daily health maintenance device for anyone wanting to be in balance and feel healthy.

The implications for chiropractic patients are enormous, as it is estimated that chiropractors treat over 27 million Americans annually, with a chiropractic adjustment being performed around 1 million times every business day in the US. This means that a typical patient returns to the chiropractor at least 12 times per year or once a month on average. It is anticipated that the use of Protonics to promote the correct muscle firing pattern, in addition to the chiropractic manipulation, could help patients maintain proper skeletal alignment significantly longer, and therefore reduce the overall cost of the patient’s healthcare.

Although Protonics has been proven effective on over 10,000 patients since its introduction to physical therapy patients, the initial Protonics model was limited to single patient use, and therefore was not used in multiple patient settings. The release of the new Protonics t2 solves this problem with a new multiple patient system. The system allows patients to purchase their own T2 attachment system that attaches magnetically to any T2 resistance core owned by the clinic. The Protonics t2 will also be available at physical therapy clinics, and at fitness centers.

Protonics® is a collaboration between Protonics Technologies based in Lincoln, NE and the Sentir Technologies Robotics Lab, based in San Diego, CA. More information is available at www.protonics.info. See Dr. Donkin's YouTube video at: https://youtu.be/XVXxolZnljo.
