Join SGS at EMV 2017, Europe’s leading trade fair for electromagnetic compatibility, March 28-30, in Stuttgart, Germany and learn about the EMC and product safety regulations you need to comply with if you want to market your product internationally.

Beyond EMC, legislators also set requirements for product safety in almost every market in the world. This year, EMV will add product safety to its agenda for this year’s trade fair and workshops. SGS’s EMC and product safety experts will be on-site throughout the event at stand C2-219, the Community Stand, providing information on requirements for international market access.

International Regulations Workshop
Armin Hudetz, Dipl.-Ing., SGS Germany GmbH, will present EMC and Product Safety Requirements for International Markets on Wednesday March 29, at 14:15. Learn about the EMC and product safety regulations applicable to a wide range of countries, including the USA and Canada, Brazil, China, and the Eurasian Countries (EAC) and guidance regarding Export Certificates for the African and Arabic regions. Join the workshop to learn more about marketing your product internationally.

A key focus of the event is the IECEE’s CB Scheme, which has become well established in recent years. The scheme helps you to avoid re-testing and covers various product groups, such as batteries and medical devices, as well as measuring and laboratory equipment. It is also suitable for household electrical products, IT, toys, lighting, industrial electronics, cables and components.
