Delavan, the food process and industrial spray nozzle specialist, continues to assert technical leadership in the supply of spray drying nozzles. The flagship of the SDX range is the latest version SDX V nozzle. The company has launched a check valve variation of the SDX V range of spray drying nozzles. Drip-free shut off is a key feature, so that valuable product is conserved and the need for clean-up before processes restart is avoided. Delavan’s spray drying specialist, Frank Whittaker, urges buyers to beware of installing clone wear parts. “These are often made from inferior materials and lack the precise geometry and high standard of surface finish that make the Delavan nozzle unique. Counterfeit components will not deliver the same performance as authentic Delavan equipment.”
