Schlager fans and visitors are warmly welcome to watch from the sidelines--admission is free! The TV recording is expected to last until around 5:00 or 6:00 p.m.
Six Schlager Stars as Guests on _Teddy Herz_
Helmut Hill--The affable Schlager singer from Upper Hesse looks back on a diverse musical career. After starting out as a trumpeter and developing a passion for the Styrian harmonica, he has been performing on stage for many years as the frontman of the party band Holidays. Today, he also delights audiences as a solo artist with soulful Schlager hits and upbeat songs. Following his appearance on "Schlager Musikanten unterwegs" in Salzburg and his performance at the Center Tour in Vellmar, he's looking forward to a festive reunion.
Margitta--The singer from Bad Zwischenahn first gained widespread recognition as the lead singer of the well-known group "Margitta & ihre Toechter." She attracted attention through numerous television appearances and her participation in the Grand Prix der Volksmusik. For many years now, she has enjoyed success as a solo artist, delighting audiences with a varied mix of Schlager, country, and disco fox.
Michael Larsen - The versatile singer, entertainer, composer, and lyricist was awarded the "Golden Tuning Fork" in 1987 as the best up-and-coming artist and has appeared, among other places, on the legendary ZDF Hitparade. As a successful lyricist, he has written for well-known artists such as the Amigos, Fantasy, Hein Simons, and Graham Bonney, earning multiple gold awards for his work. His musical range spans from Schlager to swing.
Peter Sebastian - The versatile singer, entertainer, lyricist, and music producer has been one of the most recognizable figures on the German Schlager scene for decades. He delights his audience with numerous television appearances, including on the legendary ZDF Hitparade. His long-standing social commitment to helping children injured in accidents deserves special recognition; for this work, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon.
Steffen Sturm--The popular singer and passionate musician is one of the audience favorites among the Schlager Musikanten. Numerous awards at the Official German "Schlager Prize" as well as repeated successes as "Schlager of the Week" and "Schlager of the Month" underscore his popularity. During the "Schlager Musikanten unterwegs" event in Salzburg, he happened to run into _Teddy Herz_, who was holding a "Coffee To Go"--the title track of his single--in his hand. Most recently, he performed his brand-new single "Die Nacht der Naechte (Bella Ciao)" at the "Schlager Musikanten unterwegs - Center Tour" in Vellmar.
Yve Marwan--The charming Schlager singer from the Munich area captivates audiences with her fresh voice, modern Schlager melodies, and lively reinterpretations of well-known classics. With her latest single, "Du bist perfekt fuer mich," she presents a song she wrote herself. Following her appearance on "Schlager Musikanten unterwegs" in Salzburg, she's now also part of the Christmas special at the T.E.C. in Erfurt.
Personal conversations and festive Christmas music
In addition to the musical performances, the show focuses on the people behind the stage names.
Singer and entertainer _Teddy Herz_ welcomes his guests one by one for personal conversations at a Christmas-decorated bar table. The conversations revolve around Christmas traditions, special memories, personal experiences, and, of course, the most wonderful time of the year.
Following each conversation, the respective guest will perform a festive Christmas carol on stage. _Teddy Herz_ himself will also once again provide musical entertainment to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
Which Christmas carols the artists will perform remains a surprise until the recording.
Autographs, CDs, and Personal Encounters at the Artists' Tables
Even offstage, visitors can look forward to personal encounters. At their own tables, the pop stars will sign autographs and CDs, offer merchandise, and be available to chat with their fans.
Thus, the TV taping offers a special opportunity to get to know the artists up close, take souvenir photos, and perhaps even discover a Christmas gift or two.
Grand Finale with Lady Luck Fortuna
A special highlight awaits visitors during the Grand Finale: Once again this year, Lady Luck Fortuna will be there to present the artists with their Christmas gifts.
This brings the afternoon together to a festive close, full of Christmas surprises.
TV Premiere on December 13, 2026
The TV premiere of the 2026 family show "Christmas with _Teddy Herz_ and His Guests" will take place on Sunday, December 13, 2026, at 8:15 p.m. on Schlager Musikanten TV.
Afterward, the Christmas show will air daily at 8:15 p.m. as part of the evening lineup through New Year's Eve. It will also be available on demand in the media library at any time immediately following the TV premiere.
