Global Undergraduate and MBA Rankings 2017

Youth Incorporated, in association with Education Times (media partner) and Rediff.com (online partner), recently released its top 100 Global Undergraduate and Business School Rankings 2017. Over 1,950 institutes and over 25,000 recruiters from around the world ranked the top 100 universities for the purposes of this study which aims to help students considering undergraduate and Master's programmes make an informed choice.

The information was analysed by placing emphasis on important criteria that students consider when enrolling in an institute such as value for money, student and recruiter satisfaction, infrastructure and facilities, teaching methodologies, etc.

UNDERGRADUATE FINDINGS

Harvard University and Stanford University have retained their position at number one and two respectively. Other institutes in the top 10 are all from the US including University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, MIT, Cornell University, University of Chicago, Cal Tech, Princeton and Yale. In the top 20, the non-US universities include London School of Economics, IE University, Cambridge University, Oxford University, IIT Bombay, University of Tokyo, University of Waterloo and Imperial College London.

MASTER’S AND MBA RANKINGS

This year’s rankings reveal that Harvard University, Stanford University and University of Pennsylvania have retained their first, second and third rank respectively. INSEAD has jumped to rank four this year from its previous rank six. IE Business School has retained their rank at no.5. A new entrant in the top 10 of the best 100 B-schools is Yale University which has made it to the list from its rank 12 previously. IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, Indian School of Business, and SP Jain Institute of Management are some of the Indian business schools featured in the rankings.
