Kayan Group Advances KYNCO2 Development, Targets Exchange Listing
Labuan, Malaysia, 28th Oct 2026 - Kayan Group Holdings is advancing the development of Kayan Carbon Token (KYNCO2), with planned listings on GCex and P2B, subject to the finalisation of exchange arrangements, applicable compliance requirements and technical preparations.
As part of this development programme, the Group has engaged AI Green Bubble (AIGB) for blockchain technology development and Tijarah Holding for Proof of Reserve (PoR). The Group is also working with BiCO2 on carbon-credit non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and supporting infrastructure intended to facilitate the tracking and settlement of eligible carbon credits.
Separately, the National Certified Valuators Company (NCDLT) has issued a token classification document identifying KYNCO2 as a functional utility token, alongside a separate assessment of the Kayan Project's development rights. These documents are subject to their respective scopes, assumptions, qualifications and limitations and should not be interpreted as regulatory approval or a guarantee of project value.

KYNCO2 is designed to support service payments and carbon NFT settlement within the Kayan Forest ecosystem in North and East Kalimantan, Indonesia. The Group's wider programme also includes collaboration with TrueFin Digital on an environmental card initiative linked to its corporate social responsibility activities.
