Identity Before Everything by Michael E. Connor Reveals Why Real Change Begins With Who You Believe You Are

Buffalo, United States, 24th Oct 2026 - North Carolina author, speaker, and coach Michael E. Connor announces the release of Identity Before Everything, a powerful new book that challenges the way people think about change, growth, and personal transformation.

Many people spend years trying to change their habits, improve their mindset, or push themselves harder, only to find themselves repeating the same patterns. In Identity Before Everything, Connor explores a different question. What if lasting change does not begin with behavior at all?

Drawing from his personal experiences, coaching work, and years of studying human behavior, Connor explains that the way people think, feel, and act is often driven by deeply rooted identities formed through repetition. According to the book, true transformation happens when individuals learn to recognize the patterns shaping their lives and begin changing them from the inside out.

Rather than relying on motivation or willpower, Identity Before Everything introduces practical tools that help readers build awareness, understand the connection between thoughts and emotions, and create new internal patterns that support lasting growth. Through guided exercises and visualizations, readers are encouraged to move beyond self-criticism and develop a more intentional relationship with themselves.

Connor believes that many people are not failing because they lack discipline. They are simply operating from identities that no longer align with the life they want to create. This book offers a compassionate and practical path toward changing that.

Identity Before Everything speaks to anyone who feels stuck in cycles of stress, self-doubt, fear, emotional reactivity, or inconsistency. It is a reminder that lasting transformation is not about becoming someone else. It is about becoming more aware of who you are choosing to be.
