Aptec Selects Exactus Software to Manage Rapid Growth

DUBAI – June 10, 2008 – Business Systems Group (BSG), the regional competency center for Exactus Inc., announced today that Aptec Holdings, a leading IT distribution company has selected Aware Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) to help effectively manage its fulfillment and distribution operations. The solution will be initially installed in the company's distribution center located in JAFZA.

Aptec selected Exactus’ Aware because of its unmatched flexibility in meeting changing business requirements and its proven track record in generating immediate, measurable improvements in space utilization, throughput and accuracy whilst achieving the lowest possible total cost of ownership. Aptec will leverage Aware’s directed, optimized processes for all inbound and outbound activities, such as receiving, put-away, picking and shipping. In addition to the Core WMS, Aptec will implement Aware Trading Partner Management (TPM) module that is a secure web-based interface that extends the supply chain capabilities to trading partners by allowing them to share key business information. By being able to better collaborate with customers, suppliers and trading partners, Aptec will be able to deliver their customers the right products in a timely manner and with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.

Aptec will utilize Exactus’ Aware Mobile™, an RF-based solutions on Psion Teklogix HHTs to push current levels of accuracy for picking and truck loading even higher. With the high-volume operations Aptec manages, reducing errors even a fraction of a percent will have a dramatic impact on the time spent processing returns from incorrect shipments.
