ATLANTA, Ga. - September 29, 2026 - EHAMX Studios, founded by filmmaker and technology executive Eric Hamilton, is emerging as a new force in independent filmmaking by combining artificial intelligence, technology, entrepreneurship and storytelling to challenge traditional approaches to feature film production.

The studio's growing body of work is receiving recognition on the festival circuit, with two EHAMX Studios feature films-EHAM Confederacy and Dog or Die-named finalists at the 2026 Peachtree Village International Film Festival (PVIFF).

While the two films represent dramatically different genres and storytelling approaches, together they illustrate the creative range and production capabilities of a studio developing a new model for independent filmmaking.

Since its launch, EHAMX Studios has completed six feature films, earned 14 film awards and secured multiple distribution agreements, establishing a growing track record in an industry undergoing significant technological transformation.

At the center of the company's story is Hamilton, whose professional background provides an unusual foundation for a filmmaker. Before founding EHAMX Studios, Hamilton built his career at the intersection of technology, digital analytics and innovation. Today, he is applying that experience to an industry being fundamentally reshaped by artificial intelligence.

"Technology has always been about creating new possibilities, and filmmaking is no different," said Eric Hamilton, founder of EHAMX Studios. "AI is giving independent filmmakers an opportunity to rethink how stories are developed, produced and brought to audiences. We're exploring what becomes possible when technology is used as a creative tool rather than simply viewed as a disruption."

Two Films. Two Visions. One Emerging Studio.

The PVIFF finalist selections demonstrate the breadth of EHAMX Studios' storytelling.

EHAM Confederacy represents the visually ambitious and high-energy side of the studio's creative work. The film showcases cinematic scale, action and spectacle while demonstrating the potential of AI-assisted production to create visually compelling feature-length entertainment outside traditional studio structures.

Dog or Die, meanwhile, explores a very different dimension of filmmaking. The film incorporates dramatic storytelling and themes surrounding the Black American experience, brotherhood, community, violence and consequence, demonstrating the studio's interest in stories that engage audiences on both an emotional and cultural level.

Together, the films demonstrate that EHAMX Studios is not defined by a single genre or visual style. Instead, Hamilton is building a production company capable of exploring diverse stories while leveraging emerging technology throughout the creative process.

Making Feature Films for Thousands Instead of Millions

One of the most disruptive aspects of the EHAMX Studios model is its approach to production economics. While traditional feature filmmaking can require budgets reaching into the millions, EHAMX Studios is demonstrating that feature-length cinematic projects can be produced with budgets measured in thousands of dollars, creating new opportunities for independent filmmakers and creative entrepreneurs.

At the intersection of AI, Black cinema, technology and entrepreneurship, Hamilton is exploring how artificial intelligence can reduce production costs, accelerate creative workflows and expand access to filmmaking without sacrificing storytelling, cinematic presentation or audience impact.

That approach is particularly significant for filmmakers whose stories and perspectives have historically faced barriers to financing and production. Through EHAMX Studios, Hamilton is demonstrating how emerging technology can give creators greater control over the filmmaking process while creating opportunities to tell diverse stories on a much more accessible budget.

The studio's work is reflected in its growing track record: six completed feature films, 14 film awards and multiple distribution agreements-providing an early example of how AI-assisted production could help reshape the economics and accessibility of independent filmmaking.

For Hamilton, the opportunity extends beyond technology. It is about creating a new pathway for filmmakers to develop, produce and distribute their stories without requiring traditional million-dollar production budgets.
