US Actors Posts VIP Page for Tim Colceri

PHOENIX, Arizona - September 28, 2026 - Tim Colceri was hired to play Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket. R. Lee Ermey, brought on as a technical adviser, took the part. Colceri kept a smaller one: the helicopter door gunner who yells "Get some!" USActors.com has added a VIP profile for the Canton-born Marine who grew up in Phoenix and still works. USActors.com allows actors to list their profiles at no charge. Casting directors who search the directory nationwide now have that credit-and the sixty that followed-on one page.

Timothy Colceri was born June 15, 1951, in Canton, Ohio, and moved to Phoenix at two. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1969, served thirteen months in Da Nang, and left the service on his twentieth birthday in 1971. Before acting he worked as a professional golfer and a flight attendant. A friend saw a Kubrick casting notice in 1982. Colceri taped an audition, won Hartman, and spent months on the role. Kubrick recast. Colceri took the door-gunner consolation. The scene used thousands of rounds of live ammunition. The line outlived the disappointment; Tropic Thunder later borrowed "Get some!" as a byline.

He kept booking military and tough-guy parts: Grady in Never Too Young to Die (1986), a lobby guard in Arnold Schwarzenegger's Eraser (1996), Sgt. Needham on Hypernauts, Metal Head in Leprechaun 4: In Space, Captain Jankowski in Babylon 5: In the Beginning, Adm. Hansen in Megiddo: The Omega Code 2, Sgt. Lewis on Weeds, plus Silk Stalkings, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Jailbreakers, Slaughter of the Innocents, Razortooth, and Evilution. He directed and starred as Baron Von Benson in Space Girls in Beverly Hills (2009) and took casting-director credits on The Last Eve and Last Day of School. Later titles include Ride Hard: Live Free, Christ Rising, Big Life, Blood and Taxes, and The Texorcist. Public lists put him past 60 acting roles. He appeared as himself in the Kubrick documentary Filmworker.

A production that wants a real Marine who already survived a Kubrick set can find him without reconstructing the story from trivia pages. The VIP listing is at https://usactors.com/listing/tim-colceri/.

US Actors is a nationwide directory built for productions that have to cast without treating one zip code as the whole industry. Actors list profiles at no charge-photos, reels, credits, union status, look, home market, travel range, and skills a breakdown actually names-and those pages stay searchable. Casting directors and filmmakers filter by city, state, metro, age, type, and experience, then contact the actor from the listing. A local hire and a job that shoots in several states use the same tool. Named actors may be added as VIP profiles so a longer career is easier to find. The site does not represent talent, hold exclusives, or take a commission. It is a casting instrument: free for the performer to remain listed, open for filmmakers anywhere in the United States to use. https://usactors.com
