Cadence Network Shows its Support for Sustainability by Sponsoring “Green 4 Retail” Conference

Cadence Network, a Cincinnati-based energy and expense management firm, has further solidified its role in promoting sustainability and carbon management initiatives through its sponsorship of a high-profile industry conference, “Green 4 Retail”, hosted by Chain Store Age magazine. Cadence will also purchase carbon offsets from CarbonFund.org to offset emissions generated by Green 4 Retail attendees produced by their travel to and from the conference, supporting Green 4 Retail’s goals for sustainability and also Cadence’s own efforts to bring consciousness of green practices to decision makers across the country.

“Green 4 Retail,” scheduled for June 18 - 19 in Chicago, Ill., is the premier green conference for the retail industry. G4R is the first conference specifically focused on how to bring broad green initiatives to store design, construction planning and facility management practices. The conference will be presented by Chain Store Age magazine, a leading industry trade publication committed to supporting sustainability initiatives and green practices.

Cadence’s Rick Sievertsen, Vice President of Business Development, will be a moderator for a Thursday, June 19th panel discussion called Reducing Energy Use: Going Beyond the Low-Hanging Fruit. The discussion is scheduled from 1:15 - 2:00 pm.
