ISO STYLE® Opens Its Online Training Pathway for a Global Movement Community

Stuttgart, Germany, September 9, 2026 - ISO STYLE® Academy has opened its online training pathway, making the movement method accessible to participants worldwide through a free introductory course and a structured online learning portal.

ISO STYLE® was created by international artist, choreographer and movement educator Sonia Asmahan, also known as rock singer Lady Volcano. The method focuses on isolations, body awareness and movement initiated from within. It combines influences from Oriental dance and modern movement culture with precision, dynamic expression and athletic body control.

Movement has accompanied Sonia Asmahan throughout an international artistic journey spanning Europe, Egypt, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia and India. Before becoming known as Lady Volcano, she worked professionally as a dancer and choreographer, founded the Almanar Dance School in Egypt and appeared in the Egyptian television production "Sonbol - Baed El Million." Her stage experience also includes major productions such as "Noujoum" in Carthage.

During the time she lived in Saudi Arabia, Sonia Asmahan organized private women-only celebrations and taught dance to women in a private setting. At the same time, she learned Khaleeji dance directly from Saudi women. This personal cultural exchange deepened her understanding of how movement, music and identity are expressed differently across cultures-an experience that later influenced the intercultural foundation of ISO STYLE®.

"ISO STYLE® was born from movement, but its purpose reaches beyond choreography. It is about body awareness, expression and the confidence to develop an individual movement identity," says Sonia Asmahan, creator of ISO STYLE®.

A free entry point without barriers

The newly available introductory chapter contains more than ten step-by-step videos. Participants can access the course in two ways: through a free YouTube course without registration or through the ISO STYLE® online portal with registration and additional course guidance.

The program includes movement explanations, practice sessions at different tempos, arm variations, warm-up and cool-down exercises, and progressive "Show Up & Dance" sessions. Previous dance experience is not required. The focus is not on perfection, but on experiencing the movement, developing body awareness and discovering a new form of expression.

A pathway toward professional instructor training

The introductory course also provides an insight into the wider ISO STYLE® training system. The professional pathway includes 32 clearly defined movements, warm-up and cool-down structures, choreographies, specially produced ISO STYLE® music, live online training, individual coaching and teaching materials.

The long-term vision is to develop an international network of qualified ISO STYLE® instructors who can introduce the method within their own cities, communities and cultural environments.
