Wall Street Pushes Back on the SEC's Novel ETF Label, Here Are 5 Crypto ETFs to Watch as September Flows Shift Beyond Bitcoin

Wall Street challenges the SEC's novel ETF label as AlphaPepe and five crypto ETFs draw September attention.
AlphaPepe comes first for earlier-cycle buyers
AlphaPepe https://www.alphapepe.io/ sits ahead of the ETF names because its main attraction is timing. It has not entered public price discovery, yet four CEX partnerships are already in place, with LATOKEN announced as the latest addition. More exchange partnerships are expected, while online speculation continues around whether a higher-tier exchange could join later. No such venue has been confirmed.
Security has also moved into focus. AlphaPepe has completed smart-contract audits with BlockSAFU https://blocksafu.com/audit/0x8566F831eD30Da7C138faE827e50fe3558915Abd and Coinsult, while AlphaSwap adds an AI-powered DEX layer to the ecosystem. The bonus drop adds immediate urgency. Buyers can reveal an extra 10%, 30%, 50%, 100% or 200% ALPE allocation. Every draw receives a bonus, which remains active for 48 hours on qualifying purchases. More than 300 buyers have already used it.
Solana ETFs lead the September rotation
Solana produced the standout altcoin ETF move as September trading opened. US-listed SOL products attracted about $101.9 million on September 1, led by Bitwise's BSOL and Fidelity's FSOL.
That came as Bitcoin products lost roughly $236.5 million in the same session. The contrast makes Solana one of the clearest tests of whether institutional crypto demand is broadening rather than disappearing.
XRP ETFs extend their buying streak
XRP ETFs also stayed positive as September began, adding roughly $14.4 million on September 1 and extending their positive-flow streak to 11 trading sessions.
Cumulative inflows have climbed to around $1.68 billion. That persistence matters because XRP price action has remained volatile even while regulated products continue attracting capital.
Ethereum ETFs keep absorbing capital
Ethereum remains the largest non-Bitcoin ETF market and entered September with a long positive streak. Ether products added roughly $11 million on September 1 using the broader tracked universe, extending positive flows to a 12th consecutive session.
That makes ETH a key benchmark for whether institutional allocations continue expanding beyond Bitcoin into staking, tokenization and DeFi exposure.
Hyperliquid ETFs add another new-market signal
Hyperliquid is becoming another name to watch as Wall Street tests demand for newer forms of crypto exposure beyond the established Bitcoin and Ethereum products. HYPE-linked products added around $1.76 million on September 1, pushing cumulative inflows to roughly $346 million. That is still small beside the billions already sitting in the largest crypto ETFs, but the direction matters. Capital is beginning to reach assets that would have been considered far outside the institutional mainstream only a short time ago.
That is also why the SEC's debate around the "novel ETF" label is important. If newer crypto products are placed into a broader regulatory category with additional scrutiny or slower approval paths, it could influence how quickly emerging assets gain access to traditional investors. On the other hand, continued demand for products linked to names such as HYPE shows that Wall Street appetite is already stretching further down the crypto market.
AlphaPepe sits even earlier in that cycle. Instead of waiting for ETF adoption or chasing an asset after public price discovery, buyers are entering ALPE during the presale at $0.02845. With more than $2.57 million raised, 11,400+ holders and a Q1 2027 DEX launch ahead, AlphaPepe offers the kind of pre-market positioning that established ETF assets can no longer provide.
