La Canada Flintridge (LCF) Rescue Requests Donations for “Kitten Shower”
Foster Kitten at Happy Strays Rescue
During the month of June, the rescue will be accepting donated items at Petco located at 475 Foothill Boulevard next to Trader Joe’s. Items requested include dry and canned kitten and cat food, any type of cat litter, kitten milk replacement (KMR) for bottle-fed orphaned kittens, jars of meat baby food, baby diaper wipes and paper towels, and used baby receiving blankets. Donations can be dropped off during the week at Petco and marked for “Happy Strays Rescue,” or be delivered to the rescue on Saturdays.
The rescue currently has dozens of kittens placed in temporary foster homes, and many area residents are asking for help this summer with found kittens or stray pregnant cats.
In addition, financial support for spaying and neutering is urgently needed as funding is low this time of year with the surge of kittens into the rescue’s foster network.
Happy Strays Rescue holds weekly Saturday adoptions at the Petco in La Canada from 11 AM to 3:30 PM. To learn more about Happy Strays Rescue and the wonderful cats and kittens available for adoption this summer, please visit www.happystrays.org.

Happy Strays Rescue is a 501(c)3 not for profit rescue organization that cares for stray, abandoned and orphaned cats and kittens. All of our cats are attended to medically, each is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and tested for FeLv/FIV. We then begin the search for loving and permanent homes.
