Robert Lawrence Vancouver Highlights Touk, Chef Chanthy Yen's Contemporary Cambodian Restaurant
VANCOUVER, British Columbia - August 26, 2026 - Robert Lawrence Vancouver is highlighting Touk, one of downtown Vancouver's most distinctive contemporary dining concepts.
Located at 1152 Alberni Street, Touk is led by Chef Chanthy Yen, winner of Top Chef Canada Season 11.
The restaurant combines Cambodian culinary traditions and flavours with French influences and ingredients sourced from British Columbia, creating a menu that reflects both Yen's heritage and Vancouver's diverse food culture. Touk describes its approach as a contemporary expression of Cambodian cuisine rooted in the flavours, stories and techniques that shaped the chef's background.

Current menu highlights include Prawn Nantua with sweet red curry, Saraman featuring beef cheeks with coconut cream and kabocha squash, Kampot Crab with yellow curry and fresh peppercorn, and the Fraser Valley Tomahawk with Cambodian mole, browned butter and watercress.
The restaurant also draws heavily on British Columbia seafood, including oysters, albacore tuna, prawns, sablefish and Pacific snow crab.
Desserts continue the restaurant's inventive direction with offerings including Mochi Crueller, Guava Cake, Chocolate Mousse and Egg Coffee.
