High-Quality Scrap Recycling: A New Path for Steel Low-Carbon Transition

The absence of a full-life-cycle digital identification and traceability system hinders precise scrap classification, and the intelligent level of scrap processing and dismantling needs further upgrading.

The research proposes a systematic high-quality recycling model defined as "Four-All & Five-Modernization" to solve industry pain points.

Four-All: full life cycle management, full production process coverage, full industrial chain collaboration, and forward-looking layout for the upcoming full-scrap smelting era. It fully implements the EPR system to standardize the whole process from Steel design, manufacturing, scrapping and recycling to remelting.

Five-Modernization: digitalization, informatization, identification coding, networking and robotization. The model builds interconnected industrial platforms, popularizes full-process Steel traceability coding, and applies intelligent dismantling and sorting equipment to realize refined and high-value scrap recycling.
