The MobileStore launches Online Sales operations across 11 cities

Mumbai, 03 June 2008: The MobileStore (TMS), the one stop mobile solution retail chain announced the launch of Online Sales operations. The website is launched with a capacity to serve 11 cities across India in the phase one which will eventually extend in all locations pan India. Ms. Malaika Arora-Khan inaugurated the website – www.themobilestore.in at The MobileStore store located in South Mumbai.
The site would be operational in 11 cities across India; namely Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Cochin, Ahmedabad, Pune. The website will host features like blog, reviews, search a handset with select features, registration, news and also latest offers available at The MobileStore.
Mr. Rajiv Agarwal, CEO, The MobileStore Ltd said that, “After successfully launching 600 stores across the country, this is yet another customer friendly initiative from The MobileStore which would enable the customer to purchase the latest in mobile segment without stepping out of his residence or office. Ms. Arora- Khan who was present at The MobileStore to launch the Fly Hummer mobile phone said, “Online Shopping is the buzz of the youth today with many of them going tech savvy and rely on web for info on the latest gizmos. This initiative from The MobileStore is in sync with youth today.” Ms. Arora Khan accessed The MobileStore online shopping enabled website and made a purchase of a Fly Hummer mobile.
The site will update the visitor on the latest in the handset, accessories and gizmos market through its news feature. The site will be periodically updated with offers available across The MobileStore outlets.
The MobileStore has plans to roll out 2500 stores across India in 600 cities within the next two years. The MobileStore stands strong as on today with 600 stores across India and many more rolling at the rate of 3 stores per day.
