Rachel Reilly Joins RESTORING HARMONY as Producer

Reality television icon, actress, host, costume designer and entertainment professional Rachel Reilly is stepping into a new chapter of her career as a producer on RESTORING HARMONY, the upcoming Gemelli Films production set against the historic charm of Jonesborough, Tennessee.

For Reilly, joining the project is both a natural progression and a personal connection. This marks her third film and fifth project with Gemelli Films, a creative partnership that has already taken her behind and in front of the camera.

Reilly previously appeared in supporting roles in Gemelli Films' MISTLETOE MANSION and MEASURE TWICE, as well as the pilot episode of THE SUGAR SYNDICATE. She also served as Costume Designer for THE SUGAR SYNDICATE and the pilot episode of JON BRAGG, giving her experience across multiple facets of production.

Best known as the "Queen of Reality Television," Reilly has built a remarkable career spanning more than 16 years in entertainment. Her reality television résumé includes multiple seasons of BIG BROTHER, as well as THE AMAZING RACE, SNAKE IN THE GRASS, and THE TRAITORS. She has also appeared on the daytime drama THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL.

That extensive experience is now informing her transition into producing scripted entertainment.

"I was immediately drawn to the script and especially to Harmony's journey," Reilly says. "I really connected with this idea of the 'return home' story - having your life take an unexpected turn, going back to where you came from, and having to figure out who you are and what comes next."

The themes of reinvention and starting over resonate deeply with Reilly, who has experienced both extraordinary success and highly public challenges throughout her career.

"I've had incredible highs, very public failures, wins, losses and plenty of moments where I've had to ask myself, 'Okay, what's next?'" she says. "I love that this story says going home or starting over isn't going backward. Sometimes it's actually how you find the version of yourself you were supposed to become."

RESTORING HARMONY marks Reilly's first film as a producer, a milestone she describes as the beginning of an entirely new chapter.

"I genuinely love this business, but more than anything, I love storytelling," Reilly says. "This isn't just a 'first producer credit.' It feels like the beginning of a new chapter in my career."

Her years in reality television have provided an unexpected education in storytelling, teaching her how to recognize authentic characters, emotional stakes and the moments that make audiences connect.

"In a funny way, reality television has been my film school, I just didn't realize it at the time," she says.

What excites Reilly most about RESTORING HARMONY is the opportunity to help transform words on a page into a world audiences can experience. The film's themes of family, forgiveness, second chances, community and romance are among the elements that immediately drew her to the project.

And at the heart of that world is Jonesborough.

"Jonesborough isn't just a backdrop for the movie, it feels like another character in the story," Reilly says. "There's something about a beautiful small town that instantly gives you that sense of history, community and nostalgia, which fits RESTORING HARMONY perfectly."

As Harmony returns home and reconnects with her roots, Reilly believes Jonesborough's history and strong sense of community will become an essential part of the film's emotional landscape.

"I relate to that, and I know the audience will also," she says.

A longtime Alabama resident, Reilly lives with her husband and their two children. While she continues to embrace opportunities in front of the camera, she is equally excited about expanding her work behind it.

"I don't want to choose between being in front of the camera and working behind it. I love both," Reilly says. "I want to be in the room helping create the projects, not just waiting for someone to ask me to be part of them."

For Reilly, RESTORING HARMONY represents more than a new credit. It represents evolution.

"That's what makes RESTORING HARMONY such an exciting milestone for me," she says. "It doesn't feel like I'm leaving one chapter behind, it feels like I'm adding a whole new one."
