Why conventional cooling falls short in industrial spaces
Traditional refrigerant-based air conditioning is effective in sealed offices and small rooms, but becomes impractical in warehouses, production halls, greenhouses and livestock buildings. These environments are large in volume, often partially open, and require constant fresh air exchange. Installing enough conventional capacity is expensive up front and costly to run through a long summer.

Evaporative cooling works on a different principle. Outside air is drawn through a wetted cooling pad, where water absorbs heat as it evaporates, and the cooled air is then delivered into the space. Because the process relies on water evaporation rather than mechanical refrigeration, energy consumption is substantially lower - typically 100% less than an equivalent air-conditioning installation, according to ACF Cooler project data. The system also continuously supplies fresh outdoor air, which matters in spaces where ventilation is a health and safety requirement.

Built for large-volume applications
Air Cooler Factory focuses specifically on the upper end of the capacity range, producing units with airflow from 15000 to 33000 m3/h. A single large unit can cover 125 m2, reducing the number of installations, the amount of ductwork and the total commissioning time on site.
