China-Greece Youth Exchange: Call Back CHN ENERGY Guohua Energy Investment Hosts Special Cross-Border Event Marking the 5th Anniversary of the "Gen Z Energy Tour"

The event was a major initiative marking the 5th anniversary of CHN ENERGY Guohua Energy Investment's overseas cross-cultural communication efforts, which began in 2022, and was held at the same venue where the inaugural event took place that year. It brought together 8 international young people, international employees from the company's wind power projects in Greece, domestic offshore wind power technology experts, and 15 Gen Z representatives from China. Through keynote sharing, site visits, borderless dialogue, and energy science outreach, the event offered a vivid, panoramic view of how Chinese enterprises, represented by CHN ENERGY Guohua Energy Investment, are harnessing their technological expertise in photovoltaic technology, offshore wind power, and onshore wind power in Greece's mountainous regions to drive green development in their project communities.

Structured around the concept of "Call Back", the event, for the first time, appointed two former participants as "Green Legacy Ambassadors" to guide the Chinese and international Gen Z participants. The two ambassadors, Guery Alexandre and Konstantinos Loukidis, drew on their years of cross-cultural study and work experience to reflect on their personal growth since first participating in China-Greece energy exchanges. They also shared how their understanding of China's green development philosophy has evolved, using their personal stories to illustrate the lasting value of cross-border green exchanges.

As the first Sino-foreign joint-venture offshore wind power project in China, the project was one that he personally participated in developing. He explained how the project avoided aquatic product protection areas, invested in coastline restoration, and released tens of millions of marine organisms for stock enhancement. The Chinese and international Gen Z participants then visited the BIPV Center, where they gained first-hand experience of cutting-edge applications of building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV). Since 2022, against the backdrop of the Belt and Road Initiative, CHN ENERGY Guohua Energy Investment has launched a series of localized Corporate Open Day events through its projects in Greece, targeting Generation Z. Over the years, evolving from the "New Energy Open Class" format, the program has gradually developed into the company's flagship "Gen Z Energy Tour" brand. Through a more youth-oriented, immersive approach, it has successfully hosted 11 youth exchange events in China and overseas, reaching a cumulative global audience of nearly 100 million.
