CyberSecAI Launches AgentPass Free Tier for Dev's and Enterpise teams.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASECyberSecAI Launches AgentPass Free Tier: Real X.509 Identity Certificates for AI Agents, Free for Developers and Enterprise team for secure at scale AI AGent workflows. Fully integrated with CrewAI and Langgraph and any framework of your choice.
Five agents per developer. No signup, no API key, no sales call. Live now at secureagents.agentpass.co.uk
London, United Kingdom - 19 August 2026
CyberSecAI Ltd today announced the general availability of the AgentPass Free Tier, providing developers with real X.509 agent identity certificates at no cost, with no signup, no API key, and no sales call.
The free tier is live at secureagents.agentpass.co.uk and supports five AI agents per developer with trust levels L0 through L2, jurisdiction binding, per-action cryptographic signing, replay protection, and instant revocation.
AgentPass is the AI Agent Identity and Trust Platform. It provides the missing security layer between authentication and action - the layer that answers not whether an agent is allowed in, but what it is allowed to do once it is in, and whether anyone can prove what it did afterwards.
The problem: authenticated agents with no identity
In July 2026, OpenAI models under evaluation escaped a confined test environment, chained zero-day vulnerabilities in a self-hosted JFrog Artifactory instance, reached the open internet, used exposed credentials across multiple services, and reached Hugging Face production infrastructure. Hugging Face disclosed the breach on 16 July 2026; OpenAI subsequently confirmed its models were responsible, and JFrog confirmed the Artifactory zero-days, patched in versions 7.161.15 and 7.146.34. OpenAI reported reviewing approximately 17,600 recovered attacker actions between 9 and 13 July 2026.
The agents were authenticated throughout. The authentication layer was never the failure point. The failure was that no system controlled what the agents were permitted to do at the action level, and no tamper-evident record existed of what they did.
In July 2025, a Replit agent deleted a production database during an explicit code freeze, then concealed the deletion and gave a different account of events when questioned. Records for 1,206 executives and more than 1,196 companies were lost. The agent held valid access to the database. Nothing in the authentication layer distinguished between reading a table and dropping it. It was an authenticated agent.
These are not hypothetical scenarios. This is the operational reality of deploying AI agents with authentication credentials but no cryptographic identity, no trust enforcement, and no evidence trail.
What the free tier provides
• Real X.509 certificates, issued by the AgentPass certificate authority - not tokens or metadata records
• Trust levels L0 to L2 - read, write, and delegate - bound into the certificate as signed extensions
• Jurisdiction binding carried as a certificate extension under CyberSecAI's IANA Private Enterprise Number 66339
• Per-action cryptographic signing using ECDSA P-256, with single-use nonces and a five-minute freshness window
• Replay protection enforced at verification, not merely logged
• Instant revocation, authenticated by the agent's own key, published to an RFC 5280 certificate revocation list
• Private keys generated locally and never transmitted to CyberSecAI at any point
Trust on the free tier is self-asserted from the capabilities a developer requests. Paid tiers attest trust through an enrolment process.
Standards and research position
Founder and CEO previously co-led OWASP AISVS v1.0, authored Section 7 of the OWASP MCP Security Cheat Sheet (merged March 2026 and now the industry reference for MCP security), and contributed cryptographic skill-provenance design to the OWASP Agentic Skills Top 10. CyberSecAI has published thirteen Internet-Drafts with the IETF covering agent identity, MCP security, agent PKI, agent transport, payment trust, model lifecycle attestation and agent audit trails.
CyberSecAI conducts systematic security research across the Model Context Protocol ecosystem. Its disclosures include CVE-2026-39313 (CVSS 4.0 base score 8.7, High; CWE-770) against the mcp-framework, published 16 April 2026, and a High severity advisory published 19 August 2026 against the official MCP Java SDK maintained in collaboration with Spring AI - GHSA-4x8c-5vv7-973f, covering unbounded request-body reads in mcp-core HTTP server transports that enable remote denial of service.
Intellectual property
CyberSecAI's patent position is anchored by PCT international application PCT/GB2026/051351 (priority date 5 March 2026, designating 157 contracting states), covering agent identity, trust enforcement and per-action signing for autonomous AI agents, alongside further UK filings covering transport protocols, audit trails and behavioural analysis.
Availability
The AgentPass Free Tier is live at secureagents.agentpass.co.uk. Five agents per developer. Trust levels L0 through L2. Twenty-four hour certificate validity. No signup required.
Developers can integrate through MCP servers (Claude, Cursor, any MCP client), the npm SDK, or the Python SDK. Full developer documentation and the AgentPass Developer Guide PDF are available at agentpass.co.uk/developers.
Paid tiers providing L3 and L4 trust levels, OFAC and UK HMT sanctions screening, enterprise self-hosting, hardware-backed human approval, and the production KMS HSM Certificate Authority (FIPS 140-2 Level 3) are available by contacting raza@cybersecai.co.uk.
