"People who call usually assume that once the Notice of Default arrives, the only choices are to pay everything back or lose the house," Hedberg said. "That's rarely true. Most of them can still sell, and a lot of them can sell without bringing money to closing. The site exists so someone can read that at eleven at night and call when they're ready."
