RALEIGH, N.C. - August 18, 2026 - After more than three decades in healthcare, Marcelletta Miles, RN, has learned that true well-being often requires looking beyond what can be seen on the surface.
A registered nurse, healthcare executive, leadership coach, consultant, educator and holistic practitioner, Marcelletta has spent more than 30 years helping people navigate significant health, life and organizational transitions. Through Marcelletta Miles, LLC, she now brings those worlds together, combining her healthcare background with coaching, mindfulness and complementary spiritual wellness practices to support women, leaders and healthcare organizations seeking meaningful and sustainable change.
Her philosophy is simple: lasting transformation begins from the inside out.
A Personal Journey That Changed Her Approach to Wellness

Marcelletta's approach to whole-person wellness is rooted in both professional knowledge and personal experience.
For years, she cared for others while navigating stress, emotional wounds, grief and the responsibilities that often come with leadership and caregiving. In 2014, a life-threatening illness forced her to look at her own well-being through a different lens.
While continuing to follow conventional medical care, Marcelletta began examining the emotional, mental and spiritual areas of her life that she believed also needed attention. Her journey led her to explore practices including Shamanic healing, Reiki, mindfulness and End-of-Life Doula work.
A third-generation healer, Marcelletta says that experience expanded-not replaced-what her nursing career had taught her about caring for the whole person. Today, her practice encourages clients to use holistic approaches as complementary to the person-centered plan of care established with their healthcare providers.
Rather than positioning wellness as an either-or choice between conventional medicine and holistic practices, Marcelletta encourages clients to become more intentional participants in their overall well-being.
"My focus is on helping you awaken your own body's natural healing potential by using shamanic energy to clear the mind-body-spirit imbalances you have in your body," Marcelletta said.
Supporting Women Who Have Spent Years Caring for Everyone Else
Image: https://www.abnewswire.com/upload/2026/08/faefc0d882a80c2cdf9ce3e48bfafd06.jpg
A significant part of Marcelletta's work centers on women who have become accustomed to putting themselves last.
She works with women navigating stress, grief, caregiving demands, major life transitions, health challenges and the emotional weight that can come from years of caring for families, careers and communities while neglecting their own needs.
Through mindfulness, self-care, coaching and spiritual wellness practices, Marcelletta creates space for clients to reflect on what they are carrying, reconnect with themselves and make intentional choices about how they want to move forward.
Her approach is not designed around quick fixes.
Marcelletta works best with women who are ready to actively participate in their personal growth, are open to exploring deeper meaning in their lives and understand that every person's path toward greater well-being may look different.
Her perspective has also been shaped by profound personal loss, including the death of her sister. That experience expanded her understanding of healing itself.
For Marcelletta, healing does not always mean that circumstances change or that physical health is restored. Sometimes healing can mean finding peace, releasing emotional burdens, reconciling relationships or approaching an end-of-life transition with greater acceptance.
That perspective allows her to hold space for difficult seasons without promising outcomes that no practitioner can guarantee.
Where Wellness and Leadership Meet
Marcelletta's work extends beyond individual wellness.
Her professional background includes executive leadership, team development, organizational change, consulting and education within healthcare. She works with leaders and smaller healthcare organizations on areas including organizational development, change management, training, workplace culture and leadership development.
This intersection of wellness and leadership is not a new direction for Marcelletta.
At the Case Management Society of America Annual Conference & Expo, Marcelletta presented "Conscious Leadership Leads to Compassionate Care," a professional session addressing conscious leadership, patient engagement and strategies for developing a corporate culture of conscious leadership.
That work reflects a broader belief that the health of an organization and the well-being of the people leading it are deeply connected.
Whether she is working with an individual, coaching a leader or supporting an organization, Marcelletta encourages people to examine not only what they are doing, but how they are living and leading while doing it.
Her person-centered success and mindset coaching recognizes clients as resourceful, creative and capable of discovering meaningful solutions within themselves. Her role is not simply to provide answers, but to create an environment where clients can develop greater awareness, clarity and intentionality.

Expanding the Conversation Through Speaking and Consulting
Marcelletta is also expanding her work through speaking, workshops, leadership development and organizational consulting.
Her areas of expertise position her to contribute to conversations surrounding:
* Whole-person wellness and self-care
* Women, caregiving and burnout
* Mind-body-spirit alignment
* Conscious and authentic leadership
* Compassionate workplace cultures
* Healthcare leadership and organizational change
* Grief, life transitions and resilience
* Integrating complementary wellness practices alongside conventional care
She is available to speak for businesses, healthcare organizations, professional associations, conferences, women's organizations, workshops and community programs.
For Marcelletta, these different areas of work share one common thread: transformation.
Whether someone is seeking greater personal well-being, navigating a major transition, leading a team or attempting to create a healthier workplace culture, she believes sustainable change requires attention to the whole person.
