Jackson Mechanical & Streets Merger Creates Oklahoma's Largest Contractor
Jackson Mechanical Service and Streets, LLC have merged to form Jackson Streets MEP Contractors, Oklahoma's largest union-staffed mechanical contractor. The partnership unites more than 250 skilled technicians, sales professionals, and staff, combining decades of HVAC, boiler, plumbing, electrical, and design-assist construction expertise. Headquartered in Oklahoma City with a branch in Tulsa, the company serves commercial and industrial clients statewide with 24/7 emergency service.OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - August 15, 2026 - Two of the state's oldest mechanical firms, Jackson Mechanical Service, Inc. and Streets, LLC, have merged to form Oklahoma's largest union-staffed mechanical contractor.
The agreement that created Jackson Streets MEP Contractors [https://jacksonstreets.com/] was signed earlier this year but was not formally announced until this month. Jackson Boiler and Tank Co., later known as Jackson Mechanical Service, was founded in 1957. Streets Plumbing and Heating Co., later known as Streets, Inc., began serving local customers in 1960.
The strategic partnership brings together more than 250 highly skilled union-member technicians, sales professionals, office staff, and managers. It creates the largest union-staffed mechanical contractor in Oklahoma.
Jackson Mechanical Service is known for its full-service expertise in HVAC, boilers, chillers, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance across commercial and industrial sectors. Streets, LLC is a third-generation company with deep roots in design-assist construction, BIM modeling, and large-scale mechanical contracting.
The expanded company will honor the logos and brand equity of both Jackson Mechanical Service and Streets, according to President Matt Olson. The new name, Jackson Streets MEP Contractors, and its new logo create a unified brand identity. This reflects the strength and legacy of both organizations.
"This merger is more than a business decision; it is a commitment to excellence, union craftsmanship, and the future of mechanical contracting in Oklahoma," said Olson. "This merger will guide us in building something truly great."
The company will continue to offer:
Full-service mechanical offerings include repair and replacement of HVAC, boiler, chiller, plumbing, and electrical systems.
* Preventative maintenance and 24/7 emergency services
* Renovations, retrofits, and new build construction projects
* Design-assist and engineering support for complex commercial builds
Headquartered in Oklahoma City with a branch in Tulsa, Jackson Mechanical Service has earned a reputation for excellence in HVAC, boiler, chiller, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance services. Streets LLC, also based in Oklahoma City, brings decades of experience in design-assist construction, BIM modeling, and large-scale mechanical systems.
Clients can expect seamless service continuity and expanded capabilities. They can also expect an extensive team of experienced professionals ready to tackle projects of any scale, according to Olson.
"Their (Streets') expertise and dedication will be the cornerstone of our commitment to quality and excellence," Olson said. "Together, we will continue to serve clients statewide with unmatched technical skills, reliability, and customer service."
"This merger represents a powerful alignment of values, capabilities, and vision," said Kevin Cockerham, former president and CEO of Streets, LLC, and now vice president of sales for the expanded company. "Both Jackson and Streets have long histories of delivering high-quality work and supporting union labor. Together, we are positioned to lead the industry in Oklahoma and beyond."
The company will continue to serve public and private sector clients, including schools, universities, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, commercial developments, Native American tribes, and local, county, and state government agencies. With expanded resources and a unified leadership team, the organization is poised to take on larger, more complex projects. It will also maintain the personalized service and technical precision that its commercial clients have come to expect, according to Olson.
Soon, the company will move into its new headquarters located at 4701 United Dr. in Oklahoma City. The company will retain the phone numbers of its former locations, (405) 525-3788 and (405) 632-6664, and will continue to offer 24/7 emergency response 365 days a year.
