The name change comes after the company outgrew its original name. Nemlys was chosen quickly during the app's early days, a placeholder that stuck around far longer than intended. As the app grew into a broader library of relationship content spanning a dozen-plus markets, the team wanted a name that was easier for users around the world to pronounce, remember, and recommend.

Rather than making the decision internally, the company put a shortlist of candidate names to a public vote among its own user base, an initiative it called "You Decide." Thousands of votes came in, and Everlove won clearly, earning the highest average rating, the most five-star votes, and the fewest one-star votes of any name on the shortlist. The rename was not dictated by a marketing team in a room. It was chosen by the couples who actually use the app every day.

> "We could have chosen the new name ourselves, but that didn't feel right," said Jean-Christophe Lavocat, founder of Everlove. "The couples who use Everlove every week are the people who understand the product best, so we wanted them to have a real say in what it would be called."
