V Gautham Navada Joins WordCamp Bengaluru 2026 Organizing Team Following WordCamp Asia 2026 Role

V Gautham Navada, Founder and Director of ForthFocus, has been named among the organizers of WordCamp Bengaluru 2026, marking another milestone in his long-standing involvement with WordPress and the open source community.

The announcement follows his role on the Sponsor Team of WordCamp Asia 2026, held in Mumbai earlier this year.

WordCamp Bengaluru 2026 is scheduled for November 21 and 22, 2026, at St. Joseph's Boys' High School on Museum Road in Bengaluru. The event is organized entirely by volunteers and will bring together members of the WordPress and open web ecosystem from across India and beyond.

Navada is part of the 16-member organizing team behind the 2026 edition.

Continuing a WordPress journey that began in 2011

Navada's association with WordPress began in 2011, initially through blogging and digital publishing.

His interest in the platform subsequently developed into freelance web development and, eventually, entrepreneurship.

He founded ForthFocus in 2015.

Based in Kundapura, Karnataka, the company has grown to serve more than 350 clients across eight countries, with work spanning WordPress and WooCommerce development, eCommerce, business websites and custom digital solutions.

WordPress, however, became more than a professional technology platform in Navada's journey.

Over the years, he expanded his participation into the community behind the software through speaking, organizing, translation and contribution activities.

FROM WORDCAMP ASIA 2026 TO BENGALURU
Earlier in 2026, Navada was part of the Sponsor Team for WordCamp Asia in Mumbai, working with organizers from across the WordPress ecosystem on one of the community's flagship regional events.

His subsequent involvement with WordCamp Bengaluru brings that contribution closer home to Karnataka.

The progression represents an evolution from building professionally with WordPress to helping support the events and communities surrounding the open source project.
