Tomislav Tomic Introduces the EDGE Model, a Nestioo Framework for Life Transitions

Tomislav Tomic, creator of the Nestioo Method, has introduced the EDGE Model, a structured framework for working with life transitions in which a person recognizes that an existing role, direction or way of living no longer fits, while the next stage of life is not yet clear.

Rather than beginning with the question of what a person should do next, the EDGE Model first focuses on what is already changing internally.

One of the central ideas behind the model is that people may sometimes try to imagine their future from an identity, set of assumptions or familiar inner patterns they are already beginning to outgrow. Instead of forcing an immediate answer, EDGE creates space to explore what is receding, notice how the change is experienced through the body, and work with the inner and energetic conditions from which a new direction may gradually become clearer.

"Not knowing what comes next does not necessarily mean that a person lacks clarity," says Tomic. "Sometimes the part of us that will make the next decision is itself still changing."

The four stages of the EDGE Model

EDGE is an acronym for four interconnected processes:

E: Explore what no longer fits

The process begins by identifying what has changed in the person's relationship with their current life. A job, relationship, goal, role or lifestyle may still exist externally while no longer carrying the same meaning or attraction internally.

D: Detect the energetic response

The model then shifts from explanation toward direct experience. Using the Nestioo concept of Somatic Presence, the person notices bodily and energetic responses connected with the situation, including patterns described within the method as Expansion Mode and Contraction Mode.

EDGE does not treat these responses as automatic answers. Tightness does not necessarily mean "no," and openness does not automatically mean "yes." Instead, these responses provide additional information about how the situation is currently being experienced.

G: Give space to the emerging frequency

This stage represents one of the main distinctions of the EDGE Model.

Rather than requiring a person to decide in advance what their new life should look like, the process focuses on the inner qualities and energetic conditions that may support the next stage of development.

Within the Nestioo Method, this may involve working with qualities such as clarity, courage, trust or stability, together with Light Body meditation designed to support what the method describes as an emerging energetic direction.

The purpose is not to use meditation to select a career, relationship or life decision. Instead, the aim is to create conditions in which the person may become better able to recognize what genuinely begins to fit as the transition unfolds.

E: Embody what begins to stabilize

The final stage returns the process to everyday life. A possible new direction is explored through small practical steps rather than immediately being turned into a major decision.

The person may notice that a previously difficult issue feels different, that one option has lost its attraction, that another possibility has become more natural to explore, or simply that more time is needed before acting.

How EDGE differs from conventional life transition models

Life transition frameworks commonly address endings, periods of uncertainty and new beginnings. The EDGE Model works with the same broad human experience, but approaches it through the specific methodology of the Nestioo Method.

Its distinguishing feature is the integration of guided reflection, Somatic Presence, energetic exploration and Light Body meditation within one structured process.

The model therefore does not focus only on the question:

What should come next?

It also explores another question:

What in the person is changing before the next direction is defined?

This distinction matters because a new future can otherwise be shaped by the same identity and assumptions that the person is already beginning to outgrow.

EDGE works from the inside outward. The process begins by becoming clearer about what no longer fits, then moves toward noticing the direct bodily and energetic response. From there, it supports the inner conditions associated with what may be emerging and finally explores how those changes begin to translate into real life.

The EDGE Model was developed by Tomislav Tomic as part of the Nestioo Method, an approach that combines Light Body work with Somatic Presence.

EDGE is taught within the Certified Light Body Meditation Teacher Training, where practitioners learn to use the model as a structured framework for supporting people who find themselves between an old chapter of life and a new direction that has not yet fully taken shape.

The model maintains an important boundary. The practitioner supports the process but does not determine the direction of the person's life. The person's choices remain their own.
