DataShyre Launches AI Governance Platform Built to Enforce

DALLAS, Texas - DataShyre today announced the expansion of its AI Governance [https://datashyre.com/ai-governance/] platform, designed to help organizations move beyond AI policies and assessments to actively control how sensitive and permissioned data flows into artificial intelligence systems.

As enterprises rapidly deploy generative AI, AI agents, machine learning models, and AI-powered customer applications, a critical governance gap is emerging. Privacy platforms can document consent. Data catalogs can identify where information exists. MLOps platforms can monitor model performance. But these technologies were not designed to connect individual privacy choices and organizational policies directly to live AI data flows.

DataShyre built its AI Governance platform to close that gap.

At the center of the platform is AI Sentry, DataShyre's real-time enforcement engine. AI Sentry intercepts AI prompts, responses, and outbound data transfers to identify sensitive information and personally identifiable information (PII) before it reaches an unauthorized system.

"Companies have spent significant resources creating AI governance frameworks, policies, assessments, and vendor reviews," said a DataShyre spokesperson. "But documentation alone doesn't control data. Organizations increasingly need to demonstrate not only what their AI policies say, but how those policies are actually enforced."

AI Governance Built Around Consent, Context and Control

DataShyre approaches AI Governance through three operational layers: consent orchestration, agent-based discovery, and real-time enforcement through AI Sentry.

Consent orchestration connects consumer permissions and privacy choices to how data can be used by AI systems. Agent-based discovery provides visibility into data flows and identifies where sensitive information is being accessed or transferred.

AI Sentry provides the enforcement layer.

Instead of simply identifying a potentially risky AI interaction, AI Sentry can block the transaction, redact sensitive fields, or restrict the data available to a model or agent based on organizational policy.

For example, organizations can establish rules such as "no PII without consent," "health information cannot be transmitted to unauthorized vendors," or "marketing models cannot access data collected exclusively for customer support."

Once defined, these policies can be consistently enforced across supported models, agents, and inference calls.

From AI Governance Policies to Real-Time Enforcement

DataShyre designed AI Sentry to address real-world situations increasingly encountered by enterprises adopting generative AI.

A sales employee could unknowingly include a Social Security number in an AI prompt. A personalization model might attempt to use customer cohorts that did not provide appropriate consent. Sensitive attributes could be transferred to an external vendor without the appropriate permission or purpose.

AI Sentry evaluates these interactions and can redact, block, or scope the information in real time.

Every enforcement decision can also be logged with contextual information about what happened, when it occurred, why an action was taken, and which governance policy applied. This creates an audit trail designed to help organizations demonstrate how their AI data policies operate in practice.

DataShyre's broader privacy platform extends AI Governance into DSR Automation, Data Mapping, Risk Assessments, Consent Management, and Marketing Preference Management, creating a modular privacy and data governance environment.

As organizations accelerate AI adoption, DataShyre believes permissioned data will become a prerequisite for responsible enterprise AI.

The next generation of AI Governance will not simply document how artificial intelligence should use data. It will provide organizations with the visibility and technical controls necessary to govern how data is actually used.

Consent. Context. Control.

That is the foundation behind DataShyre's approach to operational AI Governance.
