GWEIKE Expands Spanish-Language Customer Case Library for Industrial Laser Buyers
GWEIKE Expands Spanish-Language Customer Case Library for Industrial Laser BuyersJINAN, China, August 6, 2026 - GWEIKE has expanded its Spanish-language customer case library to help manufacturers and industrial equipment buyers evaluate laser cutting applications in real production environments. The updated resource currently organizes 42 selected videos across six application categories, including sheet metal cutting, high-power and large-format processing, tube and combined sheet-and-tube cutting, automation, installation, operator training and after-sales support. Cases from Latin America, Europe, North America and other regions allow buyers to compare equipment configurations with applications similar to their own.
Moving beyond specifications
Industrial laser equipment is commonly compared through specifications such as nominal power, working area, acceleration and maximum processing dimensions. These figures are important, but they do not show how a machine fits into a particular workshop, how material is handled or what happens after installation.
Customer videos can provide useful additional context by showing equipment in workshops, production environments and training situations. They can help prospective buyers identify questions about machine format, loading requirements, floor space, operator access and the type of support needed during implementation.
However, GWEIKE recommends that buyers avoid judging a case only by its country or machine model. A useful comparison should begin with the underlying application: material, thickness, part dimensions, production volume, processing method and required level of automation.
The Spanish-language customer case library is available at:
https://es.gwklaser.com/resources/feedback/
Examples for Spanish-speaking manufacturers
The collection includes cases involving customers and equipment installations in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile. These videos are intended to make application information more accessible to Spanish-speaking buyers while also allowing them to compare projects from Europe, North America and other manufacturing regions.
A case from Ecuador, for example, presents an LF3015LNR configuration used for sheet-and-tube processing. Other cases show sheet metal cutting equipment operating in Mexico and Colombia, while the wider library includes dedicated tube systems, large-format cutting machines and automated production configurations.
The presence of a case in the same country does not automatically mean that it represents the right configuration for another buyer. A metal fabricator processing thin stainless-steel sheet has different requirements from a structural workshop cutting long profiles or a manufacturer processing a mixture of sheet and tube components. The most relevant comparison is therefore based on production conditions rather than geography alone.
Evaluating sheet, tube and combined applications
The expanded library separates sheet metal, tube and combined sheet-and-tube applications so that buyers can review the differences between machine formats.
A sheet-focused laser cutting machine is designed primarily for flat metal parts. Typical evaluation points include working area, exchange-platform requirements, material loading, nesting workflow and production volume. Buyers should also consider whether an enclosed structure, automated loading or larger-format processing is necessary for their operation.
Dedicated tube laser systems are intended for round, square and rectangular tube, along with selected profiles and structural sections. Important considerations include tube dimensions, length, wall thickness, profile shape, chuck configuration, support requirements and the handling of long or heavy workpieces.
A combined sheet-and-tube machine integrates both processing functions into one equipment platform. This type of configuration may be appropriate for workshops with mixed orders, limited floor space or a need to move frequently between sheet and tube work. It is not automatically the best solution for every company. Operations with consistently high tube volume may obtain better workflow efficiency from a dedicated tube machine, while businesses handling varied, lower-volume orders may benefit from an integrated configuration.
Using customer cases as a decision tool
GWEIKE recommends reviewing customer cases through a consistent evaluation framework. Buyers should first identify the material and thickness range shown in a video, followed by the dimensions and geometry of the workpiece. They should then compare the machine's format, power level, loading method and degree of automation with their own production requirements.
Workshop layout is another useful point of comparison. Videos may help buyers understand the space needed around the equipment, how material approaches and leaves the processing area and whether additional handling equipment is involved. Installation and training cases can also provide context about the steps required before normal production begins.
"Machine specifications provide the technical starting point, but application context helps buyers ask better questions," said a GWEIKE spokesperson. "The Spanish-language case library is designed to make it easier to compare sheet, tube, high-power and automated laser applications before requesting a configuration recommendation."
Installation, training and support considerations
The library also includes videos related to installation, operator training and production use after delivery. Buyers can use these materials to prepare questions about site requirements, operator responsibilities, routine maintenance, training scope and the service plan available for a particular country.
Service conditions may vary by location and machine configuration. Manufacturers should therefore confirm installation, training, warranty, spare-parts and technical-support arrangements directly for their market before placing an order. A video should be treated as a reference rather than a replacement for written project specifications or contractual service terms.

From reference case to project evaluation
Customer cases are most useful when combined with actual application data. Before requesting an equipment recommendation, buyers should prepare details about material type, minimum and maximum thickness, sheet or tube dimensions, production targets, available workshop space and expected automation level.
Representative drawings and sample materials can provide further evidence about whether a proposed machine configuration is suitable. Sample testing under agreed conditions may help evaluate cut quality, processing time and handling requirements before a final purchasing decision is made.
The expanded Spanish-language library is intended to support this early evaluation process by giving manufacturers a clearer view of different laser equipment applications, while recognizing that every production project requires its own technical review.

How Picosecond and Femtosecond Lasers Are Reshaping Cover Glass Manufacturing
The cover glass industry is undergoing a quiet revolution. As smartphones become thinner, foldable devices become mainstream, and automotive displays grow larger and more complex, the way manufacturers cut and shape glass is being rewritten - and ultrafast lasers are at the center of that shift.
For most consumers, cover glass is invisible. It is the layer that sits between a fingertip and a smartphone display, between a driver and an…
