Tomedes Appoints Emilyn Sinamban as Head of Client Solutions, Launches Dedicated Client Solutions Department

Tomedes, a professional translation and language services company with close to two decades in the industry, has announced the promotion of Emilyn Sinamban to the newly created position of Head of Client Solutions. The appointment coincides with the launch of a dedicated Client Solutions department, built around a single principle: every client-facing employee at Tomedes will carry complete ownership of the client and vendor relationship, from initial contact through final delivery.

Sinamban has spent the last ten years at Tomedes. Most recently as Global Customer Success Manager, she built the company's customer success function from the ground up, developing a high-performing team, establishing cross-departmental processes, and managing client relationships across the United States, Canada, and the European Union. Her focus on client trust and data privacy also earned outside recognition, with Slator quoting her on the launch of MachineTranslation.com's Secure Mode, a feature developed in direct response to client concerns she identified and escalated.

A New Structure for the Client-Facing Team

The creation of the Head of Client Solutions role marks a shift away from the departmental handoff model many translation companies still rely on. Going forward, all 30 members of Tomedes' client-facing team will be trained and held accountable across the full client journey, rather than each handling only a single stage of a project before passing it along. According to the company, this means clients now work with a team that retains complete context and history throughout, without gaps between departments.

Sinamban described her priorities for the department going forward:
