Cohen first participated in the Pan-Mass Challenge in 2010 after witnessing his father's battles with esophageal cancer, prostate cancer, and skin cancer. Over the years, cancer has touched even more members of his family and close friends, giving his annual ride an even deeper meaning.

"When I rode in 2010, I was honoring my dad. Today, I ride because I'm scared.
