The launch comes as investment in AI-driven computing facilities, backup power systems, and energy storage projects continues to increase globally, placing greater emphasis on commissioning, performance verification, and preventive maintenance of critical electrical assets.
The SILV-1800L is designed to provide controlled load testing for generator sets, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, electrical grid applications, server load simulation, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) testing. The system enables operators to evaluate equipment performance under operating conditions intended to simulate real-world electrical demand.

Addressing Higher-Capacity Infrastructure Requirements
According to the company, the new platform was developed in response to growing demand for higher-capacity testing equipment in industries that require uninterrupted power availability, including data centers, healthcare facilities, manufacturing operations, utilities, and renewable energy projects.

The SILV-1800L has a rated capacity of 1800kW and operates at 400Vac. The system provides 5kW load step resolution and plus-minus 3% load accuracy, allowing testing teams to apply and measure varying electrical loads during commissioning and maintenance procedures.
To support extended operation, the load bank incorporates four industrial cooling fans designed to maintain airflow during continuous testing sessions. The unit also features a side air-discharge configuration intended to provide flexibility for deployment in industrial environments where equipment positioning and available space may vary.
Integrated Control and Communication Functions
The load bank includes integrated 8961 F2 generator testing functionality and supports both local push-button operation and remote PC-based control. The system also supports communication through the Modbus TCP protocol, enabling integration with industrial automation platforms and centralized monitoring systems.
These capabilities are intended to support engineering teams managing large-scale testing projects or facilities that require centralized supervision and data collection during testing operations.
Protection Systems for Industrial Operation
Deyang Rata stated that the SILV-1800L incorporates multiple protection functions intended to support safe operation during high-load testing conditions. The protection systems include fan overload protection, low-airflow protection, thermal emergency shutdown, MCCB control circuit protection, and emergency stop functionality.
The unit is constructed using industrial-grade contactors and nickel-chromium resistor elements designed for high-temperature operation in demanding industrial environments.
Applications Across Multiple Power Segments
The company said the SILV-1800L is intended for use in generator commissioning, UPS verification, electrical grid balancing studies, server load simulation for data centers, and Battery Energy Storage System testing.
Deyang Rata also identified Algeria as one of the target markets for the new solution, citing ongoing infrastructure development and power system modernization projects in the region.
