SlideEgg's Back-to-School Collection Now Lets Teachers Generate First-Day Presentations With AI

SlideEgg, a presentation template platform with over 100,000 editable slides for PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Canva, has expanded its Back-to-School collection with a configurable AI generator that lets teachers build first-day presentations without starting from scratch. Teachers visiting the collection can now choose between browsing more than 160 ready-made templates or using Create with AI to generate a deck by describing what's needed and setting options that shape the result.

The Back-to-School collection is one of SlideEgg's most-used categories as the academic year opens across North America, Asia, and Europe. Previously, teachers who didn't find an exact match in the template library had no path forward on the same page. The new Create with AI option closes that gap without requiring a separate tool or subscription.

Rather than a single-prompt AI writer, Create with AI opens a set of configuration options before generating. Teachers set the audience (teachers, students, or parents), the presentation type, the grade or education level, the tone, and the level of detail. A second set of options controls what the deck actually covers - school policies, timetable, curriculum overview, extracurricular activities, facilities, code of conduct, safety procedures, and digital learning tools - alongside content-style choices such as icebreakers, quizzes, classroom activities, a Q&A section, and announcements. Generated decks are built on SlideEgg's existing template library, so the output inherits the same visual style as the rest of the Back-to-School collection rather than a generic AI layout.

For teachers who prefer a ready-made deck, the existing template library remains in place alongside the AI option. The Back-to-School Tips for Teachers deck - a 19-slide set covering classroom environment, routines, student engagement, relationships, communication, time management, and teacher self-care- is built for staff-facing use. The Back-to-School Activities deck is designed for day one with students in the room, covering welcome activities, classroom rules taught through play, and name games.
