Musica AI: Create a Corrido, Salsa, Reggaeton or Bachata in Minutes With AI
MIAMI, July 13, 2026 - Musica AI introduced its platform for creating songs with artificial intelligence in minutes: a user writes an idea or lyrics, picks a genre (corridos, reggaeton, salsa, bachata, cumbia, banda, norteno, merengue, vallenato or mariachi) and gets a complete song sung in Spanish. It is also the first AI music platform built from the ground up for Latin music and the Spanish language: where tools like Suno, Udio and Mureka are English-first and produce generic vocals, Musica AI sings in Spanish, with a real Latin accent and style. The approach inverts the industry's logic. The dominant platforms were trained primarily on English and treat Spanish as one more language to translate into, which yields flat pronunciation and phrasing that sounds like nowhere in particular. Musica AI was designed the other way around: Spanish and Latin genres are the starting point, not an afterthought. The result is music a Spanish-speaking listener recognizes as their own (the phrasing of a corrido, the swing of a salsa, the cadence of a reggaeton) instead of a neutral-accent imitation.
Musica AI is freemium: anyone can create songs for free, with no credit card required. Each song can be polished in a built-in audio editor and, from the app's Videos section, turned into a social-ready video, with the song itself as the soundtrack, in a few taps. The platform runs on the web (app.musica.dev) and in native iOS and Android apps, and is built for creators, independent artists and hobbyists across Latin America and the global Latino community.
Against English-first alternatives such as Suno and Udio, Musica AI differs on three fronts: it is built for the Latin and Hispanic market, from Mexico, Colombia and Argentina to Spain and the Hispanic communities of the United States and Canada, offers more affordable pricing, and adds the video creation those platforms do not include.
"AI music was built in English, and that is why a Spanish song sounds like a translation. We started from the language and from the genres we grew up on. We wanted a grandmother in Medellin or a kid in Monterrey to hear an AI-made song and think: this sounds like us, not like a machine that learned Spanish last week," said Yoan Valiente, founder of Musica AI.
With more than 500 million Spanish speakers worldwide and a Latin music industry at record highs, the gap Musica AI fills is cultural as much as technical. AI music creation is now decided by language and identity, not just audio quality, and that is precisely the lane the English-first platforms have left open.
Musica AI is also evolving constantly: the team regularly adds new genres, voices and features, from vocal-quality improvements to new video-creation tools, so the platform someone tries today keeps growing week over week.
Musica AI is available now at https://musica.dev, on the App Store and on Google Play.
