As the world's first 80FPS large dual-screen E Ink smartphone, HiBreak Dual 2 will launch on Kickstarter on July 10 at 9:00 AM EDT / 6:00 AM PDT. It combines an E Ink display + LCD dual-screen design, up to 80FPS refresh performance, Dimensity 8300 power, Android 16, dual 5G SIMs slot, and stylus support.

HiBreak Dual 2 features an innovative large dual-screen design. The front is a 6.13-inch eye-friendly E Ink display, ideal for long reading sessions, browsing, note-taking, document viewing, and focused work. The back is a 5-inch LCD display, suitable for images, videos, maps, social apps, and other scenarios that require richer color performance. With two screens in one phone, users can switch between eye-friendly reading and full-color interaction.

Refresh performance is one of the key upgrades of HiBreak Dual 2. Its E Ink screen reaches up to 80FPS, with the potential for further improvement through ongoing optimization. Compared with traditional E Ink devices, HiBreak Dual 2 offers smoother and more responsive interaction when scrolling pages, typing, browsing the web, switching apps, and multitasking. Bigme has also added ripple page-turning animation, reducing the flicker sensation when turning pages in HD mode on E Ink screens.
Bigme has been continuously investing in high-frame-rate E Ink technology. Multiple Bigme E Ink products have achieved 60FPS to 80FPS refresh performance. Together with Bigme's self-developed automatic ghosting reduction technology, the devices aim to balance refresh speed, image clarity, and ghosting control.
HiBreak Dual 2 is powered by the Dimensity 8300 processor, with an AnTuTu score of up to 1.6 million, making it capable of handling multitasking, demanding apps, and daily mobile productivity. It runs Android 16, supports dual 5G connectivity, and works with a stylus for handwriting, document annotation, reading notes, and mobile creation.

HiBreak Dual 2 is available in two display combinations: Color E Ink + LCD and Black-and-white E Ink + LCD. Configuration options include 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. Whether users prefer color E Ink content or the sharper text experience of black-and-white E Ink, they can choose the version that best fits their needs. The phone supports 30W fast charging and comes with a protective case. Once fitted, the case makes the back flatter, improving grip, portability, and table placement.
