- Boeing and the U.S. defense department established a seven-year framework to triple PAC-3 seeker production. Boeing has invested more than US$200 million since 2024 in its Huntsville, Alabama, production capability, including a 35,000-square-foot facility expansion. The agreement demonstrates the strategic importance of guidance and seeker availability within the wider missile supply chain.

- BAE Systems delivered its 100,000th APKWS laser-guidance kit. The February 2026 milestone reflects rising demand for modular guidance technology that can be integrated with existing rocket motors, warheads and multiple launch platforms. BAE Systems produces the kits at facilities in New Hampshire and Texas.

Stockpile Readiness Becomes a Long-Term Industrial Priority
