Tendeta moves beyond its Airtable-based origins with a purpose-built, mobile-first store that lets independent sellers publish products, manage orders, and keep their catalogue current in minutes.

Valencia, Spain, July 10, 2026 - Tendeta today announced a new version of its storefront platform, designed for independent sellers who want to run a focused online store without spreadsheets, complicated ecommerce software, or desktop-only back offices.

The original Tendeta relied on Airtable as the operational layer behind a store. The new Tendeta replaces that setup with a simple, purpose-built store dashboard: create a store, take product photos, update availability, review orders, and share a live link, all from a phone.

Tendeta is built around a deliberately small idea: a store needs a name, a look, products, and a way to take and manage orders. Sellers can launch a one-page storefront with their own Tendeta URL, share it on Instagram or TikTok, add local pickup details and contact links, and manage everything through an installable web app. No passwords, no themes to configure, no Airtable base to maintain.

"Small sellers should not have to operate a database just to sell a few beautiful things," said Tendeta. "We rebuilt Tendeta around the way independent brands actually work: from their phone, between making, packing, and talking to customers."

Alongside the new mobile-first store experience, Tendeta is launching Tendeta for agents, a beta capability that lets merchants manage their store through an AI agent.

Through Tendeta's secure MCP connection, merchants can connect ChatGPT, Claude, OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code, or another MCP-compatible agent to a specific store. In plain language, they can ask an agent to review recent orders, create or update products, mark an item sold out, or move an order through its fulfilment steps.

For example:

"Accept order #42 and tell me what needs to be ready for pickup."

The feature is designed to keep merchants in control. Every agent connection is limited to one chosen store and to the permissions the merchant grants: read-only, or permission to manage products and orders. Billing, domains, account changes, deletions, and automatic customer messages are not available to agents. Access can be revoked instantly from the Tendeta dashboard.

Tendeta remains a simple store and order-management tool first; agent access is an optional layer for merchants who want to work conversationally or automate repetitive store operations.
