Celebration of Heritage: The Zhaoqing Guangfu Culture Temple Fair

Deep in the heart of Guangdong, the annual Zhaoqing Guangfu Culture Temple Fair is where tradition meets innovation. This year's fair featured six major themes: Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH), Food, Technology, Art, Song Dynasty Charm, and Local Brands, with 103 booths showcasing everything from craft demonstrations and hands-on activities to traditional snacks and creative products. The region's fermented tofu, a 200-year-old time-honored brand, was exhibited in Italy and the UK in 2025, earning the nickname "Eastern cheese" from overseas consumers.

What we see here is just a glimpse of a much bigger trend. In the first three quarters of 2025 alone, Guangdong's agricultural imports and exports surpassed 263.24 billion yuan, reaching 214 countries and regions worldwide. Shaoguan's edible fungi alone have been exported to 22 countries. And Maoming's lychee exports surged by over 96% year-on-year in 2025, with total value exceeding 80 million yuan.

AI can even replace costly marketing services, including models, photographers, makeup artists, and lighting crews, reducing annual marketing costs from over 1.3 million yuan to around 100,000 yuan. Fang Jianhua, Chairman of Huimei Group and founder of the Inman brand, put it succinctly: "Integrating fashion with AI isn't a matter of choice, but an essential step we must take". The event brought together industry, technology, culture, and consumption, propelling Chinese fashion and Guangdong-made products into the global spotlight.

Racing Ahead: Jiangmen's Motorcycle Industry Takes the World by Storm

On the racing circuit, ZXMOTO's championship win at the Superbike World Championship (WSBK) Portuguese round sent shockwaves through the global motorcycle community. But what many didn't know was: the winning bike's helmet, exhaust pipes, and the ceramic cylinder in its engine were all made in Jiangmen, Guangdong-China's first "National Motorcycle Industry Demonstration Base".

Jiangmen's motorcycle industry is built on a solid foundation. With over 110 major motorcycle enterprises above designated size, including 24 whole-vehicle manufacturers, the industry recorded a total industrial output value of over 41.8 billion yuan in 2025, up 23.7% year-on-year. Motorcycle production reached over 5.4 million units, nearly 1 million more than in 2024. In Duruan Town alone, more than 300 parts suppliers form a complete industrial chain-meaning a full motorcycle can be assembled without ever leaving the town.

This industrial strength has powered impressive export performance. In 2025, Jiangmen's motorcycle and parts exports exceeded 21 billion yuan, up over 40% year-on-year. Whole-vehicle exports reached 19.27 billion yuan, a 47.7% year-on-year increase, accounting for 24.5% of the national total. Products are shipped to over 80 countries and regions, including Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Three Jiangmen-based companies ranked among China's top 10 motorcycle exporters in 2025.

Strong government support has also been crucial. In 2025, Jiangmen facilitated 22 manufacturers in completing export license registrations and provided export support services to 37 authorized enterprises. The local trade promotion council issued 1,848 certificates of origin for motorcycles, covering exports worth approximately $271 million and helping reduce tariffs by about $13 million.

Jiangmen's motorcycles are not just going global. They are racing through the global value chain, driven by scale, quality, and branding, continuously elevating the reputation of "Made in Guangdong".
