NEW YORK - June 29, 2026 - For three years, the team behind Edges of Earth lived where the work is, spending more than 1,000 days in the field across 50 countries and 250 locations, with over 800 hours underwater, working beside the people taking on the planet's hardest problems. They conducted nearly 1,500 interviews and produced 450 field case studies, with 275 placements in media across 54 outlets. Edges of Earth set out to find and document the organizations solving our biggest environmental challenges, the ones whose solutions could scale if they had the right resources. Two years of research led up to the expedition, which began in 2023. The team found them all over the world.
