Zhejiang Xintongda Special Steel: New Chishou Plant Under Construction

Zhejiang Xintongda Special Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has commenced construction of a new manufacturing facility within the Chishou Premium Stainless Steel Demonstration Park, a designated provincial-level industrial project in Songyang County, Zhejiang Province, China. Upon completion, the plant will deliver significant additions to production capacity, integrate intelligent manufacturing systems across the line, and strengthen the Company's position in international markets for premium stainless steel seamless tubing.

Project Overview

The new facility is located in the Chishou Ecological Industrial Zone in Songyang County, Zhejiang. The project occupies a site of approximately 150 mu (about 10 hectares), with a total building area of over 100,000 square metres. Current production capacity stands at approximately 25,000 tonnes per year, and the new plant is designed to deliver a significant increase in capacity that will eliminate existing production bottlenecks.

The new plant brings together intelligent manufacturing systems and end-to-end digital process control spanning raw material intake through finished product output, supporting stronger product consistency, higher throughput, and elevated quality standards.

International Certifications

The Company maintains a full suite of internationally recognized certifications spanning classification societies, management systems, and product compliance. Classification society approvals include ABS (USA), LR (UK), DNV (Norway), and BV (France). Management system certifications cover ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), and ISO 14001 (Environment). Product certifications include EU AD 2000, PED 2014/68/EU (Pressure Equipment Directive), GOST, CU-TR 32, and NORSOK M650.
