iDTRONIC presents the new RFID Disc Transponder INDUS Tag

iDTRONIC, a leading supplier for RFID Hardware solutions, introduces the PPS “Indus”Disctag to international customers, as a premier at the IFSEC Security & RFID Exhibition in Birmingham

iDTRONIC’s new Disctag named Indus is specially designed for Industrial Applications, since it is extremely resistant to any kind of external damage.

It has a protective overlay layer made from PPS lamination, which allows the tag to support the physical conditions found in harsh environments, and to resist against abrasion, impact and corrosion.

The new Indus Tag is designed to easily resist temperatures up to 90° C, as well as a wide range of agressive chemicals .

It also has a protective coating which is particularly resistant to humidity, and conforms to the IP 66 norm as well as DIN 40050 / IEC 60529. This assures a very low level of interference from materials such as metal and liquids.

The “Indus” PPS Disctags are available in different sizes: diameters 13/18/20/28 and 30 mm with a thickness of 2.5 mm. These minimal dimensions allow the iDTRONIC Indus Tag to perform well in any industrial environment.

The tags are available with the most common low frequency (125 kHz) ICs such as the EM 4100 and NXP Hitag 1 + 2. They are also available with HF (13.56MHz) transponders, including the NXP Mifare Family, I-Code SLI and TI Tag-it HFI.

The iDTRONIC Indus Tags are particularly well-suited to the identification of goods and objects in industrial, logistics and production applications.
