Shanon R. Holm officially qualifies as a candidate for Pasco Mosquito Control, Seat 2

Shanon R. Holm Qualifies for November Ballot for Pasco Mosquito Control, Seat 2.

Pasco County, Florida - June 12, 2026 - Shanon R. Holm has officially qualified and will appear on the November ballot as a candidate for Pasco Mosquito Control District, Seat 2, representing East Pasco County.

Holm brings a strong record of public service, community involvement, and fiscal responsibility to the race. He currently serves as a Board Member of the Mirada Community Development District, where he will complete his four-year term in November 2026.

Holm moved to Pasco County in 2007 and became an East Pasco homeowner in 2017, Holm has deep roots in the community and a firsthand understanding of the issues that matter most to local families and taxpayers.

"Experience matters when it comes to protecting taxpayer dollars and ensuring government services are delivered efficiently," said Holm. "I am committed to bringing practical leadership, accountability, and responsible stewardship to the Pasco Mosquito Control District."

Holm earned a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida and has built his career on the principles of fiscal responsibility, transparency, and sound decision-making. As a fiscal conservative, he believes government agencies must focus on their core mission while operating within their means and respecting taxpayers.

Throughout his service on the Mirada Community Development District Board, Holm has worked to promote responsible budgeting, long-term planning, and effective governance. He intends to bring that same approach to the Pasco Mosquito Control District, ensuring resources are managed wisely while maintaining the high level of service residents expect.

Voters in East Pasco County will have the opportunity to elect Holm to Pasco Mosquito Control District Seat 2 in November.
