DANYANG, JIANGSU, CHINA, June 2026 - Starlight Machinery, based in Danyang, Jiangsu Province, China, has released the ZNJ-25 Combined Rice Mill. The machine processes paddy into finished white rice at 800-1,000 kg/h, around 20 tons per day, on the same 3.7 x 1.6 x 3.4 m footprint as the ZNJ-15 it replaces.
The full milling sequence runs in a single station: cleaning, de-stoning, husking, gravity paddy separation, whitening, and grading. Output is 30-40% higher than that of the ZNJ-15, with no change in floor space or main power consumption. For operators who need more throughput but cannot rebuild or expand their facility, the difference is straightforward.

Why was the ZNJ-25 developed:
Rice milling operators in emerging markets face a recurring problem: demand grows, but physical space and electrical infrastructure often cannot keep pace. Building a larger facility or adding separate machines requires capital, permits, and downtime that many small and mid-size processors cannot afford.

Technical specifications:
The machine runs an 8-inch gearless paddy husker, which handles higher paddy volumes while applying less mechanical stress to the grain than gear-driven alternatives. A 70 x 6-layer gravity paddy separator cleanly separates unhulled paddy from brown rice, reducing recirculation and protecting head-rice yield downstream.

The electrical cabinet is CHINT-branded with a reduced-voltage starting system that limits inrush current at startup, extending motor and component service life. A one-key emergency stop is standard. Elevator pipes are widened to 140 mm (single) and 250 mm (double) to prevent flow bottlenecks at higher throughput. Discharge pipes are stainless steel; air pipes are galvanized. Inspection windows and quick-access panels are built in, allowing operators to monitor the line and perform daily checks without shutting down production.

Overall dimensions are 3,700 x 1,560 x 3,400 mm. Paddy infeed capacity is 1,300-1,600 kg/h. Finished white rice output is 800-1,000 kg/h.
