HOUSTON, TX - WTA USA Inc., the Chicago-based freight and customs specialist, today announced the launch of WTA Energy, a new specialist energy logistics division headquartered in The Woodlands, Houston, Texas. WTA USA Inc. is a subsidiary of WTA Group, a UK family business founded in 1913 and now under the control of its fourth generation of family ownership. The launch represents the most significant development in WTA USA Inc.'s history since its founding in 2007, and establishes the business as a dedicated player in the global energy supply chain.

WTA Energy has been established to serve the complex and demanding logistics needs of the global energy sector. Operating from Houston, the world's energy capital, the division provides expert freight forwarding, project cargo management and end-to-end supply chain solutions across oil & gas, petrochemicals and renewable energy.
