Beyond The Sparks Brings Compatibility-First Singles Event to Oklahoma City on June 27

Beyond The Sparks, a singles events and matchmaking company based in Tulsa, is launching an extension of its event format - the Match Before The Date: OKC Edition - in Oklahoma City on Saturday, June 27th, 2026, at Chicken & Pickle in Oklahoma City (OKC).

The event will be limited to 60 single Oklahoma residents between the ages of 28 - 44, with attendees guaranteed to have at least one compatible match in the room before arriving. This is something most singles events do not offer.

The matching process begins prior to the event, and after registration, attendees will be directed to take the SPARK Quiz, which is a free four-minute personality assessment located at beyondthesparks.com. The quiz consists of four personality dimensions based on one's dating personality, and each individual will receive a SPARK compatibility type by taking the assessment. Once obtained, this information will be used to match individuals according to their assessment results and sent via text message to each attendee's personal phone prior to arriving to the event.

We aimed to address an aspect of contemporary romance that has not been discussed openly: That a lot of individuals have the knowledge to make contact with worthy partners; However, people continue to meet unsuitable partners. Therefore, by eliminating the uncertainty involved in making a connection before entering a venue, we allow you to determine your match before stepping foot in or near that location. The evening offered by Chicken & Pickle will consist of three competitive yet recreational games, with the intention of allowing individuals to get to know each other's personality within a fun, relaxed space - as opposed to rushing through conversation-based "ice-breakers" at the start of each evening out they have by themselves or with friends. They also get personalized identification badges that have a "Topics Box" on them, so that when someone approaches them for a conversation, they will have several different options (from which they can choose one) that are related to their interests to use as a conversation starter and potentially lead to a fun experience talking to a different person or group.

There will also be an opportunity for everyone in attendance to win a prize through a raffle ticket drawing. In addition, the first ten individuals who arrive at the venue will receive an additional raffle ticket for each person in their party.

Beyond the Sparks began in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It has previously been established that Beyond the Sparks specializes in creating small-group events that encourage compatibility over quantity through the development of positive social relationships between members of the Tulsa community-this will be Beyond the Sparks' first event outside Tulsa.
