rbb Public Relations Wins 2008 Gold Sabre Award For Corporate Reputation Program

MIAMI – May 21, 2008 – rbb Public Relations was awarded the 2008 Gold SABRE Award on May 13, 2008, for its work with Florida Power & Light. The award was given in the Corporate Reputation category and entitled FPL’s Storm Secure Program Leaves Hurricanes in the Past.

The winning program was built out of the necessity to restore customer confidence after the effects of seven hurricanes making landfall within 15 months. The program overcame preconceived notions about the company by its customers and the media regarding FPL’s ability to provide reliable electrical service in the event of future storms. FPL has been a client with rbb for 16 years.
