Why 2 August 2026 Changes Everything

Eight weeks after ISS World Europe closes, the EU AI Act's high-risk obligations enter into force. Annex III of the Act names law-enforcement evidence systems explicitly. Four obligations apply to every system in use: data governance, technical documentation, human oversight, and record-keeping. Each one is significantly easier to satisfy when the system is offline by design.
