Kolkata, India, 25 May 2026 - Daradia: The Pain Clinic has announced the 26th batch of its Online Fellowship in Pain Medicine (Basic), a structured online training programme for registered medical doctors involved in pain care. The new batch is scheduled from 8 July to 7 October 2026.The fellowship has been designed to help physicians develop a systematic approach to chronic pain diagnosis and management. It covers core areas such as pain mechanisms, clinical pain assessment, neuropathic pain, nociplastic pain, rational pharmacotherapy, musculoskeletal pain syndromes, cancer pain management, basics of interventional pain medicine, MSK ultrasound orientation and fluoroscopy-guided pain procedure concepts.
The Online Fellowship in Pain Medicine (Basic) by Daradia, in collaboration with GE Healthcare, is delivered through live interactive teaching, recorded sessions, case-based discussions, procedural demonstrations and structured academic assessments. The programme is fully online and is intended for doctors who wish to strengthen their clinical decision-making in pain medicine while continuing their regular practice.
According to Daradia, the programme has trained more than 3,500 physicians from 41 countries, with more than 600 doctors participating annually. The fellowship is conducted every three months and has evolved into an international academic platform for structured pain medicine education. Regular faculty members include pain physicians from India, Nepal and Bangladesh, with guest faculty participation from countries including the USA, Ireland, Indonesia and Malaysia.
The 26th batch will include more than 25 academic hours over three months. Participants will receive training in practical clinical reasoning, red-flag identification, pain mechanism-based diagnosis, pharmacological planning and introductory concepts in image-guided pain interventions. The programme also introduces learners to musculoskeletal ultrasound and C-arm guided procedures through demonstrations and orientation sessions.
A distinctive feature of the fellowship is Daradia's use of AI-supported learning tools. These include a Virtual Clinic for simulated patient interaction and a Virtual Mentor designed to support academic learning, clinical reasoning and research-related understanding. Daradia has also developed an MSK ultrasound simulator to help learners understand probe positioning, anatomical landmarks and spatial orientation before live scanning exposure.
The programme is suitable for anesthesiologists, orthopedic surgeons, general physicians, pain physicians, neurologists, PM&R specialists and other registered medical doctors who manage patients with chronic pain or wish to develop a structured foundation in pain medicine.
Successful participants who pass the examination will receive a joint certificate by GE Healthcare and Daradia. The programme is accredited by the West Bengal State Medical Council.
